Description	From the Map Collection. A map comprised of several sections. The center panel shows the the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, and parts of South America, Mexico, and the U.S. Additional panels illustrates the Baye de Panama, St. Augustini, San Domingo, and Vera Cruz. On panel contains an illustration of a city in Mexico. The number 144 appears on the bottom right of the map outside the neatline. The full title of the map is "Mappa Geographica complectens I. Indiae Occidentalis perten mediam cirum Isthmum Panamensem II. Ipsum Isthmum. III. Ichnographiam praecipuorum locorum & portuum ad has terras pertinentium. Desumta omnia ex Historia Insula S. Dominici & pro prasenti statu belli, quod est 1740 inter Anglos & Hispanos exortum, luci publicae tradita ab Homannianis Heredibus."
