Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection; Cartoon by Vic Runtz. Three crosses stand in a row on a hill, the one in the center larger than the others. The center cross has "For God so loved..." on it. The crosses and the crest of the hill are surrounded by growing clouds of smoke. The inner clouds are labeled, "Distrust, Fear, Hatred, Violence." The outer clouds are labeled, "Threat of extinction, Warfare, Sickness, Suffering, Supremacy of science, Individual powerlessness, Dwindling respect for law, Selfishness, Moral laxity, Rioting, Racial tension, Ignorance, want." The eyes of Runtz's signature cat are closed as if in prayer. The cartoon caption reads, "Lead, kindly light."
