Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection; Cartoon by Ed Gamble. Former President Richard Nixon is shown on the left half of the cartoon in a relaxed, outdoor setting. He is talking on the telephone while seated in a chair under a palm tree. He holds a sheaf of papers in one hand, and a croquet mallet is on the ground. On the right side of the cartoon, President Gerald Ford, to whom Nixon has been talking, has dropped the telephone he was holding and is sobbing. Ford is wearing a trench coat and appears to be inside a telephone call box. Nixon says to Ford, "Oh, I almost forgot...I'm sending Henry a few little treaties I signed with the People's Republic...uh...one saying the U.S. will discontinue detente with the Russians...uh, one promising to sever relations with Taiwan...uh...hello...Jerry...Jerry."
