Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection; Cartoon by Vic Runtz. President Richard Nixon, wearing a Santa suit and beard, flies a sleigh in the sky over Vietnam. The front seat of the sleigh, where Nixon sits, is labeled "Nixon de-escalation policy" and the empty seat behind him is labeled, "State-side bound." Runtz's signature cat holds onto the runner behind the sleigh, and above it is "Draft reduction benefit too!" Below the sleigh, US soldiers look up with pleasure. A spindly Christmas tree is topped with a star. The cartoon caption reads, "Climb aboard, fifty-thousand more of you!"
