Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection; Cartoon by Vic Runtz. Armed soldiers guard the entrance to the site of the 1968 Democratic Convention, which is surrounded by chain link fence topped by barbed wire. The gate in the fence is labeled, "Checkpoint Charlie." The soldiers are inspecting the contents of a cake box labeled "Mothers Bakery, Inc." The delivery man, looking angry, holds the open box while the soldiers inspect the bottom of the cake with it speared on a bayonet. The cake is labeled, "Happy 60th birthday LBJ." Runtz's signature cat holds its paws in the air in a gesture of surrender. The cartoon caption reads, "Ok, Mac, you can pass."
