Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection. Cartoon by Eldon Pletcher. Pletcher's Everyman character, labeled, "La. taxpayer" sits in a chair in front of a desk across from a man dressed as a doctor (smock, head lamp). The desk has a nameplate with the words, "53-man study committee." Other items in the office are a framed medical degree on the wall and a filing cabinet with a skull on top. The man dressed as a doctor is reading a paper with the words, "Forthcoming prognosis report for the Gov." The taxpayer says, "Give it to me straight, Doc. How bad is it?!"
