Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection. Cartoon by Eldon Pletcher. A man with a globe for a head is covered in cuts and bruises and has a bandaged foot and leg. Using a crutch, he is moving toward the United Nations building. He also holds a shredded umbrella. The U.N. building is also labeled, "Peace-keeping weather center" and a paper at the foot of the building reads, "24th session." Bolts of lighting strike at him. These are labeled, "Sino-Soviet border clashes...Vietnam...Middle East...Belfast riots...Latin American turmoil." [Manuscript note in bottom margin: "Tuesday, Sept. 16." During 1969, 1975, and 1980, September 16 was on Tuesday. The U.N. was chartered in 1945; the 24th session is assumed to have been in 1969.]
