Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection. Cartoon by Eldon Pletcher. A school building is right at the edge of a tall cliff; the back sidewalk of the building is hanging off the edge. The front door welcome mat reads, "Opportunity." The void below the cliff is labeled, "Despair of today's uneducated" and only a tree clinging to the side of the cliff would prevent someone from falling all the way down. A student with books under his arm approaches the school along a path that is labeled, "School opening." The cartoon caption reads, "Drop in...Not out!" [Note on the date: Manuscript entry in bottom margin reads, Thursday, Aug. 28. During 1969, 1975, and 1980, August 28 was on Thursday.]
