In the first scene, two men carry rifles and conceal themselves against a brick wall labeled "Belfast Pub" around the corner from a sidewalk. The first man peers around the corner and says to the second man"Here comes a priest, Paddy!" The second man responds"Let's get 'im...imagine them startin' to talk against the I.R.A. and pushin' for peace!" In the second scene, the two men press against the wall and hold their rifles ready to shoot the priest. In the third scene, the priest says from around the corner"Excommunication, anyone?" and the men have lowered their rifles. In the fourth scene, the priest has emerged from around the corner, smiling, and the two men have run away.
