The cartoon caption reads, "Moon over Miami." [Note: Cartoonist Eldon Pletcher worked at the Times Picayune from 1966-1984. Manuscript date entry "Mon, Sept 10" is at the bottom. September 10 was on a Monday in 1962, 1973, and 1979. The Cuban Missile Crisis occurred late July-October, 1962, prior to Pletcher's time at the Times Picayune.]
