Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection. Cartoon by Eldon Pletcher. New Orleans mayor Ernest Morial is dressed as a magician, and he is trying to pull a rabbit from an upturned top hat that is on a table. Concealed beneath the table is a man labeled, "La. Senate" who is holding the rabbit out of Morial's reach. The lines that show the rabbit being whisked away are labeled, "Earnings tax rejected." Morial appears confused. Nearby are the drapes of a proscenium stage and a sign that reads, "Fiscal magic act."
