Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection; Cartoon by Vic Runtz. A large American flag flies at half mast on the horizon. In the upper corners of the cartoon are the dates 1890 (left) and 1969 (right). Below 1890, on the horizon, are a horse and buggy being driven by two people. Below 1969 is the moon being circled by the orbital path of the rocket which is preparing to launch. From the horizon line toward the foreground are large footprints, "Soldier, Statesman, Peacemaker." Runtz's signature cat observes from the lower left corner of the cartoon. The cartoon caption reads, "Ike passed by."
