Description	From the AAEC Editorial Cartoon Collection. Cartoon by Eldon Pletcher. New Orleans Mayor Ernest Morial carries a briefcase labeled "Joint ventures to benefit all." A paper sticking out of the case is labeled “Regional transit." Morial is standing on the step before an open door labeled, “Jeff,” and a man stands in the open doorway. Doorways on either side are labeled "St. Bernard…St. Tammany…Orleans." Morial has raised his hat in greeting and is speaking to the man. The cartoon caption reads, “I’m working my way through the neighborhood.” [Note on the date: Artist or editorial manuscript entry of publication date in the bottom margin reads, “Sun. Aug. 19.” During 1979 and 1984, August 19 was on a Sunday.]
