Dear Dad,
I guess maybe I should start sending these non-airmail - just to save money, if that's okay with you. I don't know how long the mail process takes between our two places. I still hope to fill in the five days of diary from the day we left Oxford up to June 30.
How are things with you? Maybe sometime I can make some cornbread for you and mail it - only trouble is that it's best when hot, and so maybe we can wait ‘till you come here. Do you want to write to Jackson about that, or do you want me to handle it locally?
So far I don't need anything (except our Project needs monetary help - my Internal Revenue check should hold me for a couple weeks (maybe 10 days).
