When last I wrote we were going to Jackson Sunday a.m. Plans have changed. We're now leaving this afternoon and going to Tougaloo, the negro college about 8 miles from downtown Jackson. We'll camp there overnight (see the "Big name stars show") and march into Jackson tomorrow morning.
For the Life in Mississippi corner this morning we have the following bits of information.
--One is always dripping, tired, wrinkled, and must be ready to move-act-or re-act at a moment's notice.
--There is a state of tension and fear 24-hrs. a day. Practically all Negro homes now have loaded guns and police dogs.
--The same streets which run thru all the town change names as they go into the Negro sections.
