Myself & Mr. Toler come to Goldsborrough the day you left us at Petersburg. We had to lay over at Goldsborrough from ten oclock the night you left us until the next day til three oclock & then we tuck the train to come to Kingston. They have not put me in the gard house yet. They had not reported me when I came up on my Regment on Friday eavening. They all seem to be glad to see me and asked me how in the world I managed to get such a pretty woman as you are to have me.
