Description	From the Miller (Michael J.) Civil Rights Collection; This is a publicity document published by the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party (MFDP) to encourage people outside the state of Mississippi to support the MFDP's Congressional challenge. The introduction explains the legal basis of the challenge and notes how different people can support the challenge. It also includes a reprint of an article from The Nation (May 17, 1965) that not only describes the basis for the challenge and the stages through which it must pass, but includes details and quotes from the Justice Department hearings of Mississippi registrars regarding their unconstitutional voter registration procedures. The document also includes a list of organizations that support the challenge and some sample statements and resolutions that those organizations have made regarding the Congressional challenge.
