Description	From the Dahl (Kathleen) Freedom Summer Collection. Two-page fund raising letter by James Baldwin addressed to Friends. Baldwin, an African-American novelist/activist in the 1960s, asks the public to support the Freedom Summer volunteers already working in and still coming to Mississippi. The letter mentions that three young people "have disappeared"(presumably James Chaney, Michael Schwerner, and Andrew Goodman). A photographic image shows Freedom Summer volunteers in an auditorium.
