Biography
Mr. Layton was involved in the Jackson Public Schools as a teacher, a principal, and a curriculum director from the late 1930' s to the middle 1970' s. Layton was director of communications during the late 1960' s and the early 1970' s during the first years of integration in the Jackson public school system.
