| Description | Oral history.; Interview conducted on September 20, 1979 with Dr. Dewey Lane at the Robinson Lane Surgical Clinic in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Lane was born on September 27, 1934 in Starkville, Mississippi. He attended Vanderbilt University from 1952 to 1955 and then went on to graduate from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1959. Lane opened his own practice in Pascagoula, Mississippi in 1964. He is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, Mississippi State Medical Association, Singing River Medical Society, and Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. |
